SMUM
St. Timothy’s holds an annual “Vestry Dinner” with auctions for donated goods and services. In 2016, the Vestry Dinner event contributed over $8,000 to Santa Maria Urban Ministry (SMUM). SMUM provides the local community with a safe, welcoming place for basic services that meet short-term needs, and educational and targeted services to support permanent transformation.
Throughout the year St. Tim’s collects clothing, shoes, canned foods, fresh fruits and vegetables, school and craft supplies, which are regularly brought to SMUM for distribution.
