Frequently Asked Questions

  • We are a non-academic program and support contextual learning through play and social interaction. Our daily activities are based on the children’s interests and developmental needs.
  • We are a mixed age classroom and accept children ages 2 years & 9 months up to 5 years.  FYI, once a child has turned 6 they are no longer eligible to be enrolled.
  • If your child is still potty training we are happy to work with you and support them at their pace and comfort level.
  • Children staying for the extended care program (1pm-3pm) will have the option of napping in a quiet room or (for children who are not nappers) will have a short period of quiet activity options (books, drawing, puzzles) and then resume open play options/activities.

Covid related:

  • Children are required to wear masks indoors and all adults (from teachers, to staff, to families at drop-off/pick-up) are required to wear masks at all times while on campus until further notice.
  • We clean and sanitize our classroom and materials at the end of each day and our staff are all up to date on their Integrated Germ Management training.
  • We sanitize the classroom bathrooms after each and every use.
  • We ask that our families sign a community agreement to help keep us all safe and maintain any current health and safety standards.
  • We will continue to do curbside drop-off and pick-up for the foreseeable future. This is not just for safety, using curbside drop-off we’ve seen an increase in children having a more successful transition into school in the morning.
