We are a non-academic program and support contextual learning through play and social interaction. Our daily activities are based on the children’s interests and developmental needs.
We are a mixed age classroom and accept children ages 2 years & 9 months up to 5 years.FYI, once a child has turned 6 they are no longer eligible to be enrolled.
If your child is still potty training we are happy to work with you and support them at their pace and comfort level.
Children staying for the extended care program (1pm-3pm) will have the option of napping in a quiet room or (for children who are not nappers) will have a short period of quiet activity options (books, drawing, puzzles) and then resume open play options/activities.
Covid related:
Children are required to wear masks indoors and all adults (from teachers, to staff, to families at drop-off/pick-up) are required to wear masks at all times while on campus until further notice.
We clean and sanitize our classroom and materials at the end of each day and our staff are all up to date on their Integrated Germ Management training.
We sanitize the classroom bathrooms after each and every use.
We ask that our families sign a community agreement to help keep us all safe and maintain any current health and safety standards.
We will continue to do curbside drop-off and pick-up for the foreseeable future. This is not just for safety, using curbside drop-off we’ve seen an increase in children having a more successful transition into school in the morning.
