Youth Ministry

Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. — 1 Timothy 4:12 (New International Version)

St. Tim's is a church where youth do ministry. Youth are setting an example during worship by singing or playing in the band, standing in front of the congregation reading the bible lessons and running the sound booth in the back of the church. During the week youth set an example of love by setting the table for our community dinner every week.

The youth also meet together to plan and do projects that meet the community's needs. Youth in 6th-12th grade are meeting from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday nights to grow in love together and set an example in life doing a project for the community. On Sundays from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. youth are gathering to make care packages for folks in hospitals. These projects were generated by youth matching the community's needs with their own gifts.

We do this ministry as a team and there are many groups of people who work together to make youth ministry happen here, but if you want to know more about getting connected here, Nancy Livak, our Youth Director, at will welcome you and point you in the right direction.
