Morning Glory - 9:00 a.m. Family Worship
This band supports our 9:00 a.m. children's celebration on Sunday mornings. A wide range in age contributes to musical leadership at this service. We've had children as young as 10 participate in this ensemble. The music helps children worship and is composed of bright, accessible songs everyone can sing. A full range of instruments encourages us to sing with joy.
Stone Table - 10:30 a.m. Contemporary Worship
The 10:30 a.m. service, as our principal worship gathering, has recently undergone a profound change in liturgical presentation. We have moved to a contemporary musical style, which best fits the needs of our changing culture. The songs we sing come from a wide range of traditions including traditional hymns and chants in contemporary settings. The ensemble is a full rock/gospel group with a rhythm section and 6 to 10 singers. Here you will find a wonderful blend of modern music and ancient rite.
5:00 Contemporary Youth Band
The band at the 5:00 p.m. service primarily features teens in leadership positions, with praise music ranging from edgy alternative songs to Christian hiphop. You will experience prayer settings with popular beats, and service music in contemporary style and language. Multimedia experiences including DVD clips, drama, and interactive creative moments provide culturally relevant illustrations of Gospel readings.
