Moving Forward

The new year finds our parish in a time of transition. We have said goodbye to our Rector of 12 years and now begin the search for a new one to lead our parish forward.

It is a time of hope and excitement as we discern where God is calling us.

The theme at our Annual Meeting held on January 27 was Got to get on this train. The train was chosen as a symbol for the forward movement we have taken thus far, and the forward movement we will take in the months ahead.

It is an invitation for everyone in our parish to find a place in the life of our covenant community. There are plenty of seats for everyone as we continue this journey together.

Change is inevitable and difficult. The Holy Spirit is a Spirit of renewal. With open hearts we eagerly await God's movement in our midst.
