Every night at home at the beginning of dinner we do a little song-prayer that starts: "God is Great, God is Good." Fancy Latin word for that: adoration. We adore God: that is, we speak out (ad +orans) how we're blessed by God each day.
Today is a blessing day. Some days you know it more than others, don't you think? Tonight we begin our plenary session of revisioning. It's time to discover who we are and where God may be leading us in mission. I'm delighted. I'm excited. It's the right time to do this.
My prayer is that St. Timothy's, thanks to people's self-examination of their church, will live ever more into the dreams that God has for us. God is indeed good...
