Blood Drive
Help your community by signing up for the blood drive. Information on eligibility and the Blood Center's current inventory is available on the Stanford Blood Center website.

Bone Marrow Registry
Help St. Tim's Mateo Kohler by joining the Bone Marrow Registry at fair (just involves a cheek swab).

Mateo was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) Pre-B, Ph+ in April 2008, just before his 5th birthday. Since then he has endured heavy chemotherapy and its side effects and over 100 nights spent in the hospital. With all of this, the leukemia cells are still there, at just barely detectable levels. In order to cure him, he will need a bone marrow transplant and, as of now, there are no matching donors. Mateo was adopted from Guatemala and has a rare marrow type. The best way to find him a match is for as many people as possible to join the Bone Marrow Registry with a painless cheek swab.

72-Hour Emergency Kits
Sandy Watkins is taking advance orders for 72-hour emergency kits. The kit is a red backpack that includes what one person would need for the first 72 hours after a major disaster. Included in the kit is nonperishable food and water, blanket, whistle and hygiene kit. The cost is $25 per kit. For questions, or to place an order, email Sandy. Proceeds will benefit Sandy's Girl Scout troop.
