We’re excited to have Canon Jesus Reyes as our speaker this year.
We hope you can join us! We’re going to drive down on the Saturday morning to the diocesan event at St Paul’s Salinas on climate change, which goes from 9.30am to 3:00pm.
Following the event we will head to the Sargent House (i.e., the diocesan offices), which we’ll use for our meeting space. Canon Jesus will lead us with a theme of the Spirituality of Environmental Wellness.
Dinner will be at a local microbrewery in Salinas. Accommodations this year will be at a local motel.
Sunday morning following breakfast at the motel we will meet up to continue. The day will include continued retreat content, a service project (most likely clean-up at a local beach), and will include Eucharist. Finishing by late afternoon.
If you don’t think you can make all of it, please feel free to come for part. As always, the emphasis will be on fellowship and fun! Cost will be of the order of $150 (at most – the vast majority of which is the accommodation) + the dinner, but scholarships will be readily available as we certainly don’t want that to be a factor in anyone’s decision to attend.
