This year we will camp at Portola Redwoods for our Annual Church Campout. Portola Redwoods is a new location for us, in the Santa Cruz mountains (only 11 miles away). There are ten miles of trails, crisscrossing a canyon and two streams, Peters Creek and Pescadero Creek. There are clam shells and other marine deposits from long ago when the area was undersea. The park also features the tallest redwood in the Santa Cruz mountains.

We have a group campsite Friday, July 15 through Monday, July 18. Please contact Lianne Mintz if you have any questions and to help her get a rough count of who is interested. We will publicize this closer to the date to get our final headcount. Friends and family are welcome.

If you have not been camping with St. Tim's, you are in for a real treat. The adult companionship is great, the kids have a wonderful time bonding, and there is always plenty of well prepared camp food to share. Include us in your summer plans!
