Men's Softball

The St. Tim's softball team, known as EIGHT IS ENOUGH, BUT 10 WOULD BE BETTER, has enjoyed camaraderie, good sportsmanship, and loads of fun over the last three years as members of a San Jose church softball league. This men's league encompasses the greater San Jose area and games are played Monday nights at the Twin Creeks Sports Complex in Sunnyvale. The guys gather to play and be competitive on a weekly basis, never forgetting that we are playing not only for ourselves and our church, but most of all for God. Prayers are said before each game, and devotionals are shared afterward with the two teams gathering as one.

Our inaugural season actually turned out to be our most successful in terms of our win/loss record. We got bumped up to the next level and ended up making the playoffs - not bad for a team who was happy to get eight guys on the field, due to hectic schedules and family commitments!

Regardless of the score at the end of the game, we always come away with a win in God's eyes, and are happy to have been able to bond with our teammates and guys from other teams. We're looking forward to our fourth season, which is to start this Spring, and hope the fun and wonderful variety of experiences continue!
