God's Politics Book Group

Join us for an exciting discussion on Jim Wallis's New York Times Bestseller, God's Politics: A New Vision for Faith and Politics in America.

Jim Wallis is the founder of Sojourners and convener of Call to Renewal, a national federation of churches and faith-based organizations working together to overcome poverty by changing the direction of public policy. Wallis has also been an Institute of Politics Fellow at Harvard University's Kennedy School and has taught at the Harvard Divinity School. The book is a clarion call to make both our religious communities and our government more accountable to key values of the prophetic religious tradition.

The book group will meet once a month from 7:00-9:00 p.m. on Sunday evenings. The first meeting will be Sunday May 21.

We will spend at least two months discussing the Wallis book because it is extremely rich and thought provoking. The first discussion will cover Parts I-III. Please join us as we try to discern God's will for his church in these turbulent and troubling times.
