Adult Education: Bible Study Methods

Periodically we offer a class called The Divine Drama, which provides a brief overview of the biblical text. If you would like to become more intentional about nurturing your personal faith through prayer and bible study, we strongly recommend you plan to take the The Divine Drama class the next time it is offered. Or, you may be ready to commit to the more robust 40-week study of scripture in the class we call, The Book.

There is not one way to read the bible. Throughout history spiritual masters have approached the text in a variety of ways. What follows are just a few suggestions that may help you get started on your own personal discipline of prayer and bible study.
