Kathy Crumrine directs our children's Christian Education program, managing teams of people who plan and implement events for children and families, and coordinating special events in our parish community.

Kathy manages a team of approximately thirty teachers, assistants, and program coordinators that implemented Godly Play- a special Sunday morning children's program that launched in September of 2003. More than twenty craftspeople partnered in ministry with Kathy to provide exquisite story materials for the bible stories used in this program. Godly Play serves over eighty children ages three to eleven in 2002-2003 each Sunday.

Kathy has been on staff at St Timothy's Episcopal Church since September of 1996, when she served as our Coordinator for Youth Ministry. For over six years, she managed and motivated a team of fifteen adult mentors to build relationships with teens, providing and planning Christ centered programs and events for kids aged twelve through eighteen. This program continues under the excellent leadership of Holly Hem who began her ministry under Kathy's mentorship.

Prior to working at St Timothy's, Kathy's professional experience included being a Youth Ministry assistant, lifeguard, Camp Activities Director, Teacher's Aide, and a Tennis and Swim Instructor for children aged three to five. After serving on the El Camino YMCA Board of Directors for 3 years, Kathy was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors in 2002, and served until June of 2003. She continues serving on this Board as Outgoing Chair.
