Anne Wilde Adult Education Director
I am a local girl - born next door to the parish at El Camino hospital and raised in Los Altos. I earned a B.A. in Psychology from UC Santa Cruz and an M.A. in Counseling from Santa Clara University. My husband and I met and fell in love in high school. After college we married and settled in San Jose. God blessed us with two fabulous children: Rachel 18, and Randy, 15. In addition to serving as Adult Education Director here, I am the Group Exercise Director at The Club of Mountain View, an exercise instructor, a personal trainer, and a CPR instructor. I was raised Roman Catholic in a large and happy family and enjoyed more evangelical type campus ministries during my college years. Dave and I found this parish 20 years ago. It was a special and warm place even then. It has been exciting to watch the transformation of our parish through the power of the Holy Spirit working through our amazing lay ministry. A long time ago I decided to build my life on The Rock - a solid foundation, not the shifting sand of the world around us. I have been blessed ever since. Jesus is the Great Teacher. I have learned that the more of myself I lay down at His feet, the more of His power I can pick up and use to change lives and make a difference in the world. My greatest hope is for others to come to the same joy I have found living in the love of our Lord, "Therefore God also highly exalted him and gave him the name that is above every other name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of the Father." (Philippians 2:9-11) It is my privilege and joy to serve as Adult Education Director and witness the spiritual growth of our parishioners through the teaching of scripture, the encouragement of faith mentors, and the fullness of understanding in our worship. Your ideas and opinions are important to me. You are the faith community I serve. Please feel free to contact me via email.
