The Reverend Janet Wheelock hails from snowy Minnesota. She attended the University of Minnesota and from there the Free University of West Berlin majoring in English and German literature. A lifelong Episcopalian, she holds her Master of Divinity degree from Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota and a Certificate of Anglican Studies from Church Divinity School of the Pacific, Berkeley California. Janet has a wide array of church leadership experience including University Chaplain, Cathedral Canon, Priest in Charge and in recent years she has emphasized interim ministry.

In addition to her love of God and the Episcopal church, she is a passionate runner, musician, and pet owner.
